Upcoming Events
Hey! Remember us? The original Common Vision, Common Action conference at UVic in Lekwungen / W̱SÁNEĆ territory in 2017 was a big success, and our collective grassroots leadership is needed once again – now more than ever.
On Monday, May 11 from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm we will be partnering with UVic's Cedar Trees Institute to host a Virtual Town Hall to create the Moving Foward, Not Backwards Action Plan for our Regional Vision for collective action necessary to sustain Caring, Low-Carbon Communities in the recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic.

About Us
The first Common Vision, Common Action conference took place October 13-15, 2017 at the University of Victoria in Lekwungen / W̱SÁNEĆ Territory.
Together, we gathered with social and environmental organizations, activists, elected officials and community members to develop a regional policy platform for the Capital Region.
Highlights included:
Harnessing the ideas and passion of participants and organizations at the conference, we launched the Common Vision, Common Action Solutions Statement in 2018, informing policy debates during the municipal elections that year and after.
Now, in the spring of 2020, as our communities confront the economic and social crisis arising from the Covid19 public health emergency, we are re-activating the Common Vision, Common Action network – starting with a Virtual Town Hall to consider a Regional Agenda for Caring, Low-Carbon Communities in the post-COVID19 world.
